As a coach and consultant in sustainable growth, I help you to get rid of your growing pains.
What wonderful opportunities I have had to learn!
I have lived and worked in five countries, for wonderful brands such as Mercedes Benz and Volvo.
My speciality: developing and coaching talent. At the same time, I have been an entrepreneur, like in Singapore in 2006 with B-Box, the healthy Japanese meal. Unfortunately it was ahead of its time, and when we realised this and we had to stop.
In 2012, I was one of two investors in Social Deal, which grew from 3 to more than 50 employees in five years. I sold my shares in 2017.
Even now, I still sometimes invest in startups, but mostly I guide young growth companies as a coach and advisor. Tell me honestly, isn’t this one of the best jobs in the world? I give you a mirror and a map, but you set the direction.
Every growing business encounters challenges that take you out of your core strength.
Together, we will get through this critical phase of your business and set a rock-solid foundation for your sustainable growth.
A growing business and a vibrant private life. You’re constantly running out of time. How do you guard the balance?
Balance in your life
Is your business model generating enough money for you to keep investing? And what is the social and environmental impact of your business? Do these aspects complement or contradict each other?
You start to work with people, who are important to you. Ultimately, you surround yourself with people who believe in you, people who form a team with you and people who pay you. If you give these people the right attention on a regular basis, you will experience more balance in your life.
In the past, I have not always worked using my core strengths. That’s not to say I wasn’t capable or that I didn’t like my work at all. But for a good result, I had to work hard.
When you really get into your core strength you notice it immediately. Then working is mostly fun and you achieve good results with relatively little effort. But yes, unfortunately all that other work has to be done too. So the question is: how? And by whom?
I do like the turmoil that comes with change. I’ve lived in many different countries, changed jobs or working environments many times, and brought many new products or services to market.
Change gives energy. But change can become painful if you fight against it.
“Sure”, I can hear you thinking. And yet it is. It is not important to be at the centre for me at all. As a parent, it’s not about me and as a coach, it’s exactly the same.
I get my energy from making you thrive.
